Learning Through the Arts (LTTA) is an innovative program that combines the skills of local artists with core curriculum teaching. The Suzuki String School of Guelph (SSSG) has a long and impressive history in this community. The school began with only a handful of students in 1972 but has grown to an institution of 140 youngsters. Annual Heritage Day Workshop and Celebration - For the past five years, the Grand Strategy Heritage Working Group has a variety of workshops related to the Grand River watershed. New Forum for Music Organizations - During 2002, the Edward Johnson Music Foundation initiated a series of meetings among some two dozen local music organizations that regularly produce concerts in Guelph and Wellington County.
