From Arts in Guelph - July/August, 2005
The Guelph Community Foundation recently announced that its Fall 2005 grants will support arts and culture organizations in the Guelph area. Approximately $25 000 will be available for grants, with an application deadline of July 15, 2005.
Grants will be made from the Foundation's Musagetes Fund and Community Fund. These funds are permanently endowed to provide grants in support of the community, forever.
Proposals for capital expenditures, program-related activities or new initiatives will be considered. Proposals should demonstrate at least one of the following priorities: projects in the performing, media, literary and visual arts, including arts education and community arts; projects that promote and celebrate heritage; and projects that promote and celebrate cultural diversity.
The Guelph Community Foundation can fund only organizations that have registered charitable status with the Canada Revenue Agency, provide services within Guelph or surrounding communities, make services available without discrimination, and demonstrate fiscal and management responsibility, and financial need.
Applications and grant information are available from the Foundation's website at www.guelphcf.ca, or by contacting the Foundation's office at guelphcf@bellnet.ca or (519) 821-9216.
